You reap what you sow

9 days ago I bought some seeds and tilled them to low, wide vessels. This is the second year to do so.

Coriander seeds were the biggest: their diameter is ca. 2mm. They were the first to shoot up, and the seedlings grew from nothing to 2cm in 10 hours. Respectable effort.

Oregano seeds, whose diameter is a few tenths of a millimeter, start very slowly. You have to look close to notice a day-old seedling.

As the spam teaches us: 1000-fold size difference matters in reproduction.
